New telephone line installation in Spain

If you do not have a landline yet we can arrange the installation of a telephone line on your behalf. Jazztel installs lines in areas where they have equipment installed in the local exchange but BT does not install lines themselves in Spain We can arrange this with Telefónica/Movistar and then switch the line to BT or Jazztel in areas where Jazztel has no equipment installed.

The Telefónica line installation is free but you could be charged up to 83,50€ when you swap your landline to BT or Jazztel. The activation can take up to 15 working days but is often done very quickly.

Once the line has been installed please contact us again and we will arrange for the ADSL to be set up by BT or Jazztel and for the line rental to be switched to BT or Jazztel. You will receive an initial bill from Telefónica/Movistar for line rental. Once the line is switched to BT or Jazztel any amount charged for the time after you switch to BT or Jazztel will be rebated to your bank account so do not cancel the direct debit instructions with Telefónica.

Jazztel charge 60€ including IVA for line installation where they have equipment installed. If the line is ordered with Jazztel the ADSL will be set up automatically once the line has been installed.
